April is out and May is in. Here is where our teams stand as we enter the last full month of the school year.

Softball

Varsity softball went 2-1 last week. The girls started the week with a loss at Shaler Area, but they bounced back with two wins by a combined score of 20-3. They have already punched their ticket to the playoffs.

Middle school softball posted a 1-1 record last week to move to 6-7 on the season.

Baseball

The varsity baseball team went 0-3 last week. They’ll look to bounce back this week as they get set for the playoffs after clinching their spot in April. JV baseball went 2-0 and is now 9-2 this season.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Girls’ varsity lacrosse lost to Pine-Richland then beat Shaler Area last week. The girls have clinched their spot in the playoffs and will play this week for a chance to host their first-round game.

Boys’ Lacrosse

Like the girls’ lacrosse team, the boys’ team went 1-1 last week. They defeated Canon-McMillan after falling earlier in the week to Seneca Valley.

Boys’ Volleyball

The boys’ volleyball team snapped its losing streak by beating Deer Lakes last Monday. Overall, the boys were 2-1 last week and are now 6-7 this spring. JV volleyball went 1-2 in their three matches last week while the middle school team went 0-1.

Boys’ Tennis

The varsity tennis team concluded its season last week with an 0-2 record. Despite the losses, the team played a pair of competitive matches, both of which ended in a 3-2 decision. Thanks for a great season!

Track

Varsity track did not run last week, but the team will be back in action at the end of this week. Middle school track also did not compete last week but will have a pair of races this week.
