The North Hills boys freshman basketball team played its second of four consecutive road games Friday - and the Indians brought home another win.
North Hills used a big second quarter en route to a 57-36 victory at Montour. The win lifted North Hills' record to 12-1.
North Hills led by only 11-5 after the first quarter, but outscored Montour by 24-6 in the second quarter to grab a 35-11 halftime lead. The rout was on and the Indians cruised from there.
North Hills used a balanced attack, with four players scoring 8 or more points. Nathan Schanbacher led with 19 points, including 12 in the second quarter. Ethan Guszczynski added 9 points, Amir McFadden 8 and Jackson Long 8, along with a number of assists.
North Hills has a tough week upcoming. The Indians play at Hampton Tuesday, at Upper St. Clair Wednesday and at home against Fox Chapel Friday.
