The Indians bounced back from a disappointing 37-27 loss at Fox Chapel to win the 21st Annual North Hills Duals, by going 5-0 for the day. The championship match had North Hills pitted against Pittsburgh Central Catholic, 9-0. The Indians would win by the score of 46-19. The day started with a victory over Gateway, by the score of 57-15, followed by defeating Avonworth by the score of 61-3, and then Upper St.Clair 54-18 and Woodland Hills by the score of 72-3. Outstanding wrestlers were Santo Cerminaro (160 lbs.) and Sebastian Lopez (172 lbs.). Both of their records for the event were 5-0 with all pins.
Next up for the Indians is a home match vs. Shaler Area High School on Wednesday December 13th at 7:00pm.
