The North Hills Girls' Varsity Tennis team started strong with a sweep over Penn Hills. Freshman Ellie Kim started the match with an 8-0 win in her first Varsity match. Anna Tikhomirova was next to earn a point at the number 2 singles position, with an 8-1 victory. Senior Veronica Sciulli and Freshman Addie Seigworth solidified the win with an 8-1 score at first doubles. Seniors Faith Kozlowski and Gabby Thinnes rounded out the match with an 8-0 win. The girls play their next match at home against Highlands School District on Wednesday, 8/24 @ 3:30. It will be the team's first match on the brand new tennis courts that were completed in a major renovation project this past summer. Way to go, girls!
