The North Hills Girls' Tennis team traveled to Pine Richland in an early week section match. At singles, freshman Ellie Kim once again proved to be one of the best in our section by beating Pine Richland's Number 1 singles player, sophomore Kendall Kirkland by a score of 6-1, 6-3. The other North Hills win came from a hard-fought match with Faith Kozlowski and Laura McGoey at second doubles against seniors Pallavi Des and Maxine Gill with a score of 6-3 and 7-5. 

It was a tough loss for singles players Anna Tikhomirova and Gabby Thinnes, but it wasn't due to a lack of effort or competitiveness. They faced Pine Richland's senior Lily Hynds and Junior Samy Ravichandran and Pine Richland came through with wins in both of those matches. Doubles team Veronica Sciulli and Addie Seigworth also fought hard, but fell short to Pine Richland's Kiana Strahotin and Rachel Smith. 

Ellie Kim and Anna Tikhomirova will participate in the Section Singles tournament on Wednesday, September 14. Good luck, girls!!
